Oh, It’s May Already

Nothing major has happened during the past few months. A rather persistent flu has been bugging me. I’ve nearly recovered now. My unfortunate court battle continues with an appeals court, where the other party is trying to have their sentence reduced.

I’ve been using IPv6 on individual servers for a while now. Recently, I’ve started learning how to configure IPv6 networks. It’s a lot like IPv4, but with a much larger address space.

The release of Debian 8.0 was signinificant in a way. Many of the packages in Debian 7 were old enough already to be problematic for developing and deploying services. The switch to systemd in Debian 8 went really smoothly. It’s nice to now have the same tools for handling services on servers as have been on desktops for quite a while already.
